The Good Folks adopted Project Happy Feet
as its 1st pro-bono project!

To kickoff the collaboration, The Good Folks worked on securing feature stories for the Project Happy Feet Slipper Race
& Billy Gorter, Executive Director and Founder of This Life Cambodia.

Since our inception, we have always aspired for The Good Folks to be more than just a means to an end for both us and our clients. That is why we are proud to have adopted Project Happy Feet (PHF) as our 1st pro-bono project in 2014!

Now in its fourth year, the PHF Slipper Race is Singapore’s only non-competitive walk in slippers to fund-raise for its beneficiaries. Organised as a special Total Defence Edition to celebrate the spirit of Total Defence with Singaporeans coming together to fight poverty through supporting education this year, the race continued to raise funds to support the education of underprivileged school children in Singapore and Cambodia.

For Cambodia, proceeds will go to PHF’s beneficiary, This Life Cambodia (TLC), a non-profit organisation committed to empowering Cambodian communities to eliminate poverty. Billy Gorter, Executive Director and Founder of This Life Cambodia was also here in Singapore to participate in the race as well.

As the pro-bono agency for Project Happy Feet, we secured feature stories on the PHF Slipper Race in The Straits Times (ST) and ST Online, radio interview with Billy Gorter for 938LIVE as well as managed media on-ground at the PHF Slipper Race 2014.
