Hailing from Taiwan, beloved hand-shaken beverage brand, Dont Yell At Me (不要对我尖叫。日常茶间), has finally made its arrival in Singapore. Billed as a place where one can rest their minds and simply “just be” while indulging in the brand’s iconic and Instagram-worthy hand-shaken layered concoctions, Dont Yell At Me’s minimalistic café concept at Orchard Central is set to shake things up, one beverage at a time.
Co-founded by Taiwanese variety show personality and self-made entrepreneur, Yako Chan (丫头), alongside a few like-minded business partners, Dont Yell At Me strives to start a light-hearted conversation about mental wellness in an unfiltered, approachable and non-judgmental manner, as expressed through its quirky brand identity; recognisable from its peculiar mascot (that’s hard to miss!) and its ‘think-out-loud-fashioned’ quotes that are offbeat yet relatable.
To mark its arrival in Singapore, The Good Folks worked closely with the team and developed a holistic PR strategy to maximise hype and awareness for the beverage brand.
Through teaser announcements, interview pitching efforts and the facilitation of tasting sessions., Dont Yell At Me was undeniably a new contender to be reckoned with as it racked up positive coverage in leading publications including #JustSwipeLah (on MeWatch), 8World, Mothership, Her World, Youthopia, EatBook, Weekender and Daniel Food Diary. Personalities spotted with our beverages included Ayden Sng, Sheila Sim, Ian Fang, Elvin Ng and Fiona Fussi.
