To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of pet food brand, Wellness, in Singapore, The Good Folks worked with the brand to conceptualise
and organise the world‘s first interactive art exhibition for cats and dogs held at the School of The Arts (SOTA).
Wellness® believes mealtimes for fur kids are more than just bowls of pet food and are the foundation of a longer and healthier life. This is why the brand crafts its recipes with carefully-sourced, thoughtfully-prepared ingredients, like fresh fruits and vegetables, and high-quality natural proteins.
With the aim of getting pet parents to think about their pets’ holistic well-being (mind, body and soul) beyond providing good nutrition, The Good Folks worked with Wellness® and commissioned seven local artists to create a total of 10 art installations for the exhibition: PAW-sitive – Interactive Art for Pets by Wellness.
The installations were specially developed and tested based on specific guidelines. The Good Folks, together with a panel of professional vets and cat and dog behaviourists, helped to ensure that all of the art pieces were safe and appealing for cats and dogs.
Aside from artist liaison and event management, The Good Folks also undertook the publicity aspect of the exhibition. The event was featured on leading print and broadcast media including: The Straits Times, The Business Times, Lianhe Zaobao, Suria Berita, Channel NewsAsia, Singapore Tonight, Mashable Asia as well as international news sites – Belfast Telegraph (UK), Nerdist.com, Apartmenttheory.com (USA) and The Irish News (Ireland).
The event was a major success and garnered the widespread attention of both local and international news outlets, achieving a total of $1.6 million in PR value. The event created incredible buzz in Singapore and also served to further strengthen Wellness Pet Food‘s position as the leading natural pet food brand in Singapore.
