As the PR agency on record managing all public relations efforts for the launch of the first Andaz hotel
in Southeast Asia, The Good Folks also spearheaded publicity for all ten dining concepts within the hotel premises.
Located at the heart of cultural crossroads, where Kampong Glam, Little India and the Bras Basah Bugis arts and entertainment hub meet, the locally-inspired hotel draws inspiration from its lively surroundings and weaves this ambience into the hotel to offer guests fresh perspectives of the city. Global in scale while local in perspective, Andaz hotels weave the sights, sounds and tastes of their surroundings into each property for an experience that truly immerses guests in the eclectic culture of each local destination.
Deeply rooted in the community, Andaz Singapore offers a variety of innovative drinking and dining experiences to suit guests’ every mood and culinary whim, all of which follows a strong market-to-table philosophy by utilising fresh, high-quality ingredients — organic, seasonal and locally or regionally-sourced wherever possible.
Conceived as the culinary hub of the hotel, Alley on 25 (which encompasses seven shop-house inspired venues including 2 bars and 5 restaurants) is an all-day dining venue that aims to recreate the fluid, spontaneous experience of Singapore street dining — in the sky. And on Level 38, expect premium meats and sustainable seafood at 665°F, a steak house where you can take in the rich interior inspired by classic Savile-Row tailor shops and stunning views of the Singapore skyline.
Lastly, nestled at the top of Andaz Singapore on Level 39 is Mr Stork, a destination rooftop bar providing 360-degree views of the city. Inspired by the long-legged, long-necked wading bird — often viewed as a good omen — that builds large nests on the tops of trees, churches and other buildings, Mr Stork houses ten teepee huts set amid lush, locally inspired tropical landscaping and cobbled paving, providing cosy, unique seating, plus an observatory corner to best enjoy the breathtaking views.
Over the course of nine months, The Good Folks engaged the media and influencers via various activities including an Alley on 25 Food Trail, evening party at Mr Stork, media drops for PANDAN’s Christmas cakes, and numerous tasting sessions for 665°F and the Icehaus Superfood Salad Lounge. Extensive coverage was garnered in all major dailies, online publications and social media platforms, further solidifying their position as one of the go-to dining destinations in Singapore.
