Following the success of Lacoste’s “The Beautiful Party” in 2014, Lacoste Singapore once again
teamed up with The Good Folks for the launch of its special capsule collection in collaboration with The Peanuts Movie.
2010 saw Lacoste’s first collaboration with Peanuts in celebration of their 60th birthday. Five years later, the Peanuts gang is back by the crocodile’s side in an even sportier fashion! The highly-anticipated capsule collection was launched in conjunction with The Peanuts movie which opened in Singapore theatres in December 2015. Embroideries immortalising the four Peanuts sketches adorned the emblematic Lacoste polo in three stylish colourways.
Tasked to amp up social media hype for the Lacoste x Peanuts capsule collection, The Good Folks worked closely with local celebrities including Kate Pang, Jade Seah, Russell Ong, Xu Bin and Aloysius Pang to post various shout-outs about the Lacoste x Peanuts collection via their respective social media platforms. Local style influencers Bella Koh (@catslavery), Sipei (@ohhdivine) and Jocina (@jocinaaa) were also a part of the social media campaign! In addition, The Good Folks secured coverage for the collection in all major publications including Esquire, August Man, Style: Men, Time Out, My Paper, Lianhe Wanbao, 8 Days, i-Weekly and UW etc.
Aside from the Lacoste x Peanuts Collection, celebrities and influencers were also roped in for Lacoste’s 2015 holiday activity where consumers were offered the opportunity to have their Lacoste Chantaco handbags or small leather goods elegantly monogrammed by one of France’s top glider artisans.
With the French master glider’s attention to detail and deft handcrafted techniques, the exquisitely monogrammed Chantaco handbags were the perfect embodiment of classic French chic as LACOSTE’s ageless style met with authentic French craftsmanship for a match made in fashion heaven.
