For the launch of Mango & Lime, a new flavour in the Nando’s PERi-o-meter, The Good Folks conceptualised and executed various PR activities
aimed at creating awareness and buzz. More importantly, through these activities, The Good Folks successfully evoked the
outrageous spirit of fun that Nando’s is known for!
Hailing from South Africa, Nando’s is an award-winning casual dining restaurant chain blazing across the world with its Afro-Portugese PERi-PERi Flame Grilled Chicken. Arriving in Singapore in 2010, the franchise has fast become a household name among Singaporeans with eleven outlets established islandwide.
For the first time in PERi-PERi history, Nando’s introduced a new flavour – Mango & Lime – to their PERi-ometer. To raise awareness for this launch, The Good Folks orchestrated the “I’m Your Mango, You’re My Lime” Unbelievable Surprise for four pairs of influencers. Working with one half from each pair, The Good Folks executed an unbelievable surprise for the other party in celebration of their amazing bond like that of ‘Mango & Lime’. The heart-warming and fun surprises were documented on the influencers’ social media platforms like Instagram and Snapchat etc.
The Good Folks also hosted 1-on-1 tastings with local media and influencers, where they got to try the new flavour at Nando’s. The PR efforts by The Good Folks helped to raise the profile of Nando’s Mango & Lime and made it the most popular flavour ordered at its restaurants.
